PROBLEM: Design a cover, two full-page spreads, and one full-page ad for the Spring 2024 France Edition of Bon Voyage, an American travel magazine. Create and source all of the content within the spreads.
SOLUTION: First, as art director of the project, I created the style guide for the whole magazine. I drew an illustration for the cover and designed the masthead as well. Afterward, I wrote one original feature article and sourced the photography and art to accompany the copy. I then designed the layout in InDesign and applied the style guide to all typographic elements.
My full-page ad design is for the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and features one of Vincent van Gogh's self-portraits that resides within the museum.
